I know what it means to work undercover. No, I’m not a spy—I’m referring to my stint as an embed at The Home Depot. I had the chance to build a close-knit client relationship while working to create content for their newsroom site, Built from Scratch. While I was there, I wrote and copyedited stories, interviewed associates from various departments, and helped bridge the gap between client and agency.
